How many courses are you
If you don't care about money ...
There are many types of courses, so I think it is better to order them. I think that it is better to order one by one after that you want to eat again.
I don't know ❗
Best sushi I had for the trip! Would comeback again if I could! A little bit of wait if your not there early.
Possibly the best sushi I've had in my life(and I've eaten sushi over 1000 times). The fish is so fresh and naturally flavorful you essentially don't need to bother with soy sauce. The chefs here are quite well versed and attentive to the clientele.
It's a 15 min walk from the main canal area to get to the Masa Sushi main branch in Otaru. It's a large establishment and the sushi was definitely one of the finest I've had. Only downside is the non-chalant attitude from the waiter which is unusual for a Japanese restaurant. Alternatively, you can visit the Masa Sushi branch along the Otaru Canal which serves the same quality food, with a great view.
very simply local place for sushi it was not expensive at alland can feel a real sushi
Good sushi and service!
Good service but requires a little bit patience to ensure others just like you could get quality attention. Decent sushi with reasonable price.
One of the best meals of my life. Wow. We were four and went for lunch on a weekday without a reservation at about 11:45. We had to wait about 30 minutes, but got a small, Japanese-style room to ourselves. Three of us ordered mixed sushi and one ordered a tuna bowl. It was a thick, fresh, delicious.
Great food. Had quite a long wait but the waiters were very nice and willing to help out. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has the opportunity.
Amazing quality food.
Delicious, melt in your mouth sushi. English friendly.
The ala carte sushi was good, but I was disappointed with their spring sushi set. I was mistaken that set with their Omakase set, which should be better. It takes very long to get my order served.
Fresh food and good service, must try!
delicious food compare to other sushi in the area
Good
Fresh & Yummy! The best sushi restaurant in Otaru.
Wagyu Beef Steak and salad are amazing.
This place has a queue, for a good reason. It is nice. Depending on which sushi master you had, you may have an extremely entertaining evening. Hotate was good, Otoro was good, and surprisingly, the Tempura batter was really good as well!
Good service & good food. Price is decent. A good choice.
Sugoi-ne. Amazing sushi comes at a price, but Masa Zushi delivers. English menu available, but expect a wait unless you make a reservation.
Sea urchin was super super fresh. Food is good but pricy. You kinda get the value for money tho especially in tourist town.
Had to wait quite a while but food and service was great! Super fresh. Great experience of sushi in Otaru
Took the sushi bar option and had a great meal there. Despite the premium price tag, sushi and sashimi are fresh and the sushi makers are highly professional.
Very nice sushi. We needed to wait for 15min. I recommend you to make a reservation in advance.
Interesting experience and sushi was ok
One of the best sushi ever had. Very fresh and great service.
The service was professional without being overly friendly. Clean amenities and nice private rooms. Full English menu available which was helpful. The food itself was comparatively pricey for the area. The sushi was certainly fresh and of high quality, however there are better sushi options out there for the same or cheaper prices.
Very nice sushi place. Reserved online before head so I dun have to wait for long line. Parking available, will free your parking for two hours if u present the card to them.
one of the best sushi i've ever had
Fresh and delicious. Waited for 30 minutes on a sunday night 8ish but definitely worth the wait. Service was excellent.
Great food and gentle service. Reasonable price and the best sushi in this town. Highly recommend. Make a reservation before you come.
One of a MUST, if you did not count that chef could not speak English, but who cares? Just a time for your experience.
Staff and food is awesome
There were many options for sushi and I was even able to find exactly what I wanted to eat! Definitely recommended. The wait might be long but the food and amazing service is definitely worth it.
very good sushi tasty
Truly gastronomic Japanese djning experience, freshest seafood ever. Go early to avoid long waiting time.
Excellent. Sushi at reasonable price locating across Otaru Canal
The freshest and tastiest sushi I have had in my life, the price is expensive but its made fresh and right in front of you.Recommend booking in advance as it can get full quickly.Service is quick and polite.
Recommended for: folks who really like good sushi, guys who want to impress the ladies. Order what you like from the menu, or simply ask the chef standing in front of you for a special cut of tuna sushi. Take your pick and they will serve. Place is classy that you can impress a date, and food is good that you will make a return visit. Service is also spot on with a dedicated waiting room should the seats be full, and vigilant staff keeping your tea filled. Pro tip: plan your trip ahead as it's far from the station and little public transit options. Do check the service hours in advance in case you catch them between services.
Clean, Large, English friendly Menu, (Very)Friendly staff, Tasty seafood & sake
Unfriendly staff. Limited English. Manager wasn’t helpful at all. Shepherds patrons around the venue. You’re forced to wait on site without service for your table. Sushi was decent and reasonably priced. Credit though for one of the few establishments around the area to entertain non-Japanese patrons. We were turned away by most sushi restaurants. The venue is spacious and clean.
Please try this when you come to Otaru
The pinnacle of my sushi experience .
Simply amazing.... the best in Otaru.
It's good, but the other sushi, hata next door even better as I feel.
A bit far away from Otaru canal, but definitely worth to visit. Sushi, fish is so fresh! And you can see chefs made sushi right in front of you with respect. They will push you to eat it asap for not losing freshness! The environment is nice and clean, simple English communication is fine too! Try it yourself! And price is good and reasonable!
